Fred Lutzeier has significant experience in the areas of Enterprise Performance Improvement, Enterprise Risk Management / Internal Audit, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and a variety of other areas. In addition, Fred has experience in the areas of financial planning and analysis, business operation reviews, corporate turnarounds, business integration, and fraud prevention. He has worked with a variety of companies including: Phelps Dodge, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Electrolux AB (Kenmore and Craftsman products), BF Goodrich Chemicals , Ashland, Inc., Thermadyne, Peabody Energy and many others.
Fred has more than 25 years of financial management, consulting and audit experience. Fred was a National Managing Director for CBIZ’s Risk & CFO Advisory Services and a Partner with KPMG’s Risk and Business Advisory Services practice. Prior to joining KPMG, Fred served as the Chief Audit Executive for Ashland, Inc., a Fortune 100 energy, manufacturing, and distribution company. Fred’s business experience also includes eight years as Vice President of Finance for Arch Coal, Inc., a Fortune 1000 energy company and ten years experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he served a variety of manufacturing, retail and distribution clients. Fred is also the founding partner of Bankers’ Alliance Group, LLC, a specialty assurance, advisory and tax firm focused on the St. Louis banking community.
Fred is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and Manufacturers Alliance.
Fred earned a B.S. from Washington University’s John M. Olin School of Business, and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Webster University.
