Mike Basler joined the firm in 2010.
As a manager in Mueller Prost PC's Business Services Department, Mike assists clients in preparation and review of financial statements, tax planning and projections, the preparation and review of tax returns, identifying internal control competencies and deficiencies, and making recommendations for improvement.
He is known for his advice to closely-held business clients and their owners. His more than 13 years of experience in public accounting translates into knowledge and skill that adds value to client engagements, especially to manufacturers, distributors, automobile dealerships, multi-employer plans, charitable and social organizations, schools, churches, governmental, profession service corporations, pension and retirement plans.
Mike is an active associate member of the National Tooling and Machining Association - St. Louis Chapter, and of the Association of General Contractors of America.
Mike earned his B.S. degree in Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
