With more than 25 years of industry experience, Rich Wile has combined his engineering training with manufacturing management skills to lead the growth of companies in metals-related fields. In positions ranging from the supervision of tooling and engineering departments to responsibilities for over 300 hundred people as a vice-president of manufacturing, Rich has dealt with plant personnel at every level, allowing him to capture the essence of research and experimentation projects and employee activities to help Mueller Prost PC clients maximize the benefit they can realize from the R&E tax credit.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Rich has an undergraduate engineering degree from Case Western Reserve University in Metallurgy and Materials Science, and an MBA with emphasis in finance from Webster University.
Rich’s metalcasting career includes eighteen years at Carondelet Foundry Co. (now Metaltek International) in St. Louis, Missouri; with additional positions held at Rockwell International in Chattanooga, Tennessee; and SCORE, Inc., a supplier to the metalcasting industry serving customers in the automotive, railroad, and construction services industries.
Rich is an auxiliary member of the Missouri Society of Certified Accountants, a member of the American Foundry Society, and a member of the Missouri University of Science and Technology (University of Missouri-Rolla) Cast Metals Advisory Committee.
