Business Valuation Analyst for Consulting Department
Mueller Prost PC has grown to become one of St. Louis, Missouri’s leading CPA and business advisory firms with over 25 years of dedicated service to our clients.  Our Clayton office is seeking an experienced Business Valuation Analyst to join our 80-person, two-office firm.

The Business Valuation Analyst role involves providing financial consulting services related to business and/or asset valuation for litigation support, financial reporting, management planning or tax purposes.  The wide variety of engagements could include business valuation, economic damages, lost profit calculations, and other investigative and forensic accounting matters. Duties include financial data input and analyses, evaluation of data from the marketplace and other third parties, and writing reports. Other responsibilities may include preparing business plans, prospective financial statements, and operational reviews.

This self-sufficient individual with a penchant for continuous learning should have a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting, at least 1 to 2 years of recent business valuation experience, and preferably hold or be working toward at least one business valuation credential. The candidate must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills; excellent research, mathematical and computer skills; and the ability to handle multiple projects at once with limited supervision. In addition to strong analytical skills and an understanding of micro and macro-economic concepts, the ideal candidate would also be a creative thinker and possess the ability to work well with a variety of business owners and other professionals.

Salary commensurate with experience and bonus eligible.  Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans with flexible spending account.  401(k), flexible hours, and Fridays off program during the summer is also offered. Overtime work as required throughout the year and nominal periodic overnight travel for out-of-town engagements.
